MEDA is an international development organization that has created business solutions for poverty for 70 years. It combines investment and non-financial support to unlock the growth potential small and medium-sized agricultural enterprises (agri-SMEs) in over 79 countries in Africa, Asia and Central America. MEDA advances the business case for the nexus of gender and climate action and environmental protection by incentivizing agribusinesses and their suppliers to adopt new approaches, technologies, and tools and to take a gender inclusive lens to their work. MEDA is at the forefront of localizing development programming and shifting power. We partner for co-creation with a diverse array of local agribusinesses, financial and other service providers, investment vehicles, cooperatives, farmers’ groups, and civil society organizations.
