Opportunity International AgFinance is an Africa-focused program of Opportunity International, whose mission is to support farmers to grow more and earn more to scale rural prosperity. Opportunity AgFinance  empowers rural farmers through financial solutions and training, ultimately transforming lives, securing children’s futures, and uplifting communities. Opportunity AgFinance has been at the forefront of agricultural finance innovation, designing a wide range of financial products for rural communities, including production loans and rural savings accounts, small and medium-sized enterprise loans for agribusiness, loan guarantees, mechanization loans, crop insurance, and revolving credit facilities. Opportunity AgFinance partners with local financial institutions, providing technical assistance to help them succeed in serving the agriculture ecosystem. In addition, Opportunity AgFinance operates a 1,500 Farmer Support Agent network actively supporting rural communities. Opportunity International is an international NGO that for over 50 years has focused on the power of financial markets and human-centered innovation to facilitate financial services, training, and support to hard-working families at the bottom of the economic pyramid.
